The Shirvanshah collection
The Palace of the Shirvanshahs (Icherisheher, Baku), built from the 12th–16th centuries, is rightly considered an architectural pearl, not only of Azerbaijan, but of the whole medieval East.
The Shirvanshah collection was sparked by the countless carvings on the palace complex walls. The collection includes earrings, a set of bracelets and a long, opera-style, chain necklace with decorative compositions on a line of hexagonal figures. The motif here is the grid of stone bars that decorates wall openings in the Shirvanshahs' palace.
The pendant pusset earrings and leather strap bracelets come in different colours (matching the principal background colour of the hexagonal pattern).
